The Sony Ericsson’s G900 is a part of the Swedish-Japanese company’s series of the Web-enabled phones and it was announced at the Mobile World Congress this year.
Design
Placed side by side, the G700 and G900 may look much identical, but there are few subtle differences between the two. The most noticeable aspect is its patterned metallic silver strip that runs on edge with the G900. The G900 appears to sport the top row of few touch-sensitive soft keys, much similar to the K850i. But actually, these keys are the buttons on touch screen LCD. These were relatively fairly responsive while in use, we somehow had the actual buttons for the navigation. Just below its touch-sensitive keys are the two buttons dedicated for Messaging and Notes. The G700 too has the dedicated buttons for those very two functions, but the buttons are featured prominently less as the secondary nubs. The numeric pad of G900, though identical in size to that of G700, appears to offer tactility in less quantity.
A touch screen function has become more and more popular among today’s mobile phones.
