In Bush’s all-volunteer army, it’s a different script. A CBS News special report and an article in Stars and Stripes (a military newspaper) shed light on the rise of gang activity and crime in the military. The evidence comes from an FBI investigation into gang-related violence inside the army and Marines. The FBI study calls gang allegiances “a threat to law enforcement and national security.”

The goals of most churches is to bring people into the building and provide for the needs of the attendants and that’s good. This creates however, an exclusive membership made up of the donor clientèle associated with the charity. I am addressing churches and denominations here. Short sightedness or lack of outward vision is a quick way to choke off additional revenue sources from outside.
Thanksgiving is the time of year above all others - except perhaps Christmas - when we want to get together with our families and loved ones.
