Branding is a hot topic in marketing these days, but it’s defined in different ways and looked at from different angles. There are many components that make up a brand, and we call each component a Brand Layer.

Did you know that the vibrations received by us through our sense of sight, hearing and
smell are very closely related so that a colour can make us think of a certain
smell.

It has been shown that our sense of smell like our sense of sound, ie certain
types of music, bypass the middle brain and can trigger some of our oldest memories.
Apparently the sense of smell is the last sense to be fully developed in man.
Smells are a vibration that affect the etheric body. Sometimes aroma might be
described as an invisible colour that is absorbed by the skin, the nose and
the etheric body then affecting the endocrine system. This is where treatment
using aromatherapy really comes into effect as essential oils heal physical,
emotional mental disturbances.

Promoting your business means getting your company name and information out there to new potential customers, however there is more to it than that. Your name and information alone will not sway customers to come to your business. Instead of waiting around for people to flock to you, you have to show them that your business is the best choice for them.

Work takes a heavy toll in our life and since I have a small firm of my own I know what it takes to make a success story out of your business. Sleepless nights, meetings, working on deadlines and on top of that dealing with the financial aspects of your work can actually make life difficult at times. Let me tell you that my business is quiet successful but handling the finance and accounts of my work is a tedious task as I am very bad with numbers. It was then that I came across many business owners who said that they have solved this problem by ‘outsourced accounting’. Now let me admit at first I was stumped on hearing this, I never knew that there was something that could actually help me out of this mess. So after coming to know about this I decided ‘outsourced accounting’ is what I am going to do for my business.

Just as you were ready to trek up the Inca trail to Machu Picchu to see Peru in a World Cup qualifier, along comes Sepp Blatter and his FIFA cronies prohibiting all international games above 2,500 metres (8,200 feet), because it is dangerous for players and gives an unfair home advantage.

As you would expect, the decision has ruffled some feathers amongst the various Andean nations, where World Cup qualifiers are routinely played at high altitude. The question is though - How and why have FIFA come to this decision?

Now that your son has popped the question, the congratulations from your friends include some advice about the wedding: “smile, shut up and wear beige.”

But it doesn’t have to be like this. You have the right stuff to rewrite the rules without becoming the Mother-in-Law from Hell. You came of age during the sexual revolution, juggled career and family responsibility, broke new ground for women, enjoyed the role of superwoman. So if you don’t plan to walk on eggshells around your daughter-in-law for the rest of your life, these tips are for you:

Ben, most people would turn you away

I don’t listen to a word they say

They don’t see you as I do

I wish they would try to

I’m sure they’d think again

If they had a friend like Ben.

From the Song: Ben

Copyright 1972 Walter Scharf/Don Black

Performed by Michael Jackson

Beautiful words, right? The tune, if you know the song, is quite lovely as well. The irony, of course, is that Michael Jackson is singing this beautiful song to a RAT. That’s right, a large, hairy, dirty, nasty (and aggressive) rat! The song is the musical theme for the film of the same name.

We are all spirits inside of a body. To realize this great truth is to think the opposite that has been taught for years; namely that we are bodies with a soul. We all are souls, beings of spirit; that have taken on bodies so that we may grow. To grow spiritually is to search for this meaning.

Religions that believe in the existence of God suppose that the purpose of the human life is to serve the Creator of all things. On the other hand psychology proposes that we ultimately give our own meaning to our lives. Whether we believe that life’s meaning is pre-determined or self-directed, to grow in spirit is to realize that we do not merely exist, but exist for a purpose.

Making your own pasta is not difficult. It’s actually very easy.
