Here is the secret of how to live justly in response to the Grace of Almighty God and also how to preserve the community of faith. These Chapters in Exodus 19 to 24 teach us about Justice - how to husband agriculture responsibly - spelling out minimum fellowship requirements for this Hebrew people which apply to us today in so many ways - and how to walk in God’s Ways.
To express it another way - God is teaching us how to treat each other - how to treat our neighbours - and how we are to regard and respect our gracious and merciful and loving God.
Leaders in particular, but let everyone be included in this matter. Be specific, persistent and persevere when it comes to prayer.
We have been going through the Gospel of Luke in the New Testament, and we are studying these opening verses in Luke Chapter 11. Do check out the actual text. One disciple makes a very simple request to be taught to pray and Jesus takes time to instruct and teach His disciples. Jesus goes on in verse 5 to teach His disciples to be specific when praying and not to give up.
Where does the time go? That is a question that many people ask themselves, but if you are saying or thinking this often than you may need some help with your time management skills.
Some people think that time management is something you either have or you don’t, but this isn’t the case at all. The fact is that yes, some people find that these skills come easier and others may have to work a bit harder than others to make it a reality, but it’s certainly not impossible!
A simple tool you can use to better manage your time is positive affirmations.
I was walking up to the main library at the University of California San Diego one night, which is a long walk even when you pay for parking, when I noticed my absent minded condition. I had been walking wrapped in thought…pondering. I had been oblivious to my surroundings. Does it happen to you? I am being facetious, of course, I know it does. We are all ponderers. We have so many projects, so many things pending and so many expectations! And we believe that our efforts will eventually take us to a safe haven, don’t we?
Interested in learning how to hone your intuitive skills, interpret dreams for social improvement, or improve your health through holistic means? If your local community college or learning annex doesn’t offer the proper workshops, consider taking an online workshop with the Association For Research and Enlightenment. Founded by Edgar Cayce in 1931, the A.R.E. serves to educate people around the world on transpersonal topics like reincarnation, dream interpretation, holistic health, and ancient mystery and prophecy.
Visualization is essentially the process of guided imagery meditation. It’s getting yourself into a deeply-relaxed state and then using your mind to create positive images of something you want to, have, or be. Visualization is conscious creation. It’s using the power you were born with to live life on purpose, rather than by default.
Each of us creates our own reality, consciously or unconsciously. Either we choose to focus and thereby move in the direction of our dreams or we accept life as it comes, seemingly unaware of our unlimited capacity to take control and shape the details as we choose.
Storage has been with us forever. It helps us put stuff away when not in use and out of the way. Anything can be saved for later and there are many kinds of storage for it. I very well know about two kinds of storage, and what they hold on to for the time being.
Clothes storage is an easy one to explain because it obviously holds clothes. Closets and drawers are widely used for the clothes we wear everyday and seasonal clothes are kept in cardboard boxes. And hung plastic bags are used for dressy clothes that people take to the cleaners all the time.
Everyone has a higher self, and your higher self is the spiritual self that exists within you. The higher self is inherently comprised of pure, unadulterated love, as love is the highest and most powerful vibration in the entire universe, and is what governs our existences in many ways. Love is what holds everything together on a truly atomic level. For this reason alone, love more than anything is capable of attracting the things that we desire into our lives. This may include prosperity, companionship, youth, protection, success, beauty and the ideal body. Love, above all else, has the power to do this for us. The ultimate purpose of love is simply to give us the abundance and happiness that we seek.
There are few areas more in need of positive affirmations than the exercise arena.
If the majority of us were honest, we would say that on a scale of one to ten, the natural desire to exercise would be at a negative 80. Yet, if we were equally as honest, we would have to admit that after we engage in exercise of any form, we feel awesome and invigorated; and, for that brief post-exercise moment, the same scale would jump to a positive 80.
One of the occasions that incorporate a number of traditions in the conceptualization of the occasion is marriage. Almost every family and culture has their own traditions that they follow even in their bridal concepts. Some of these practices evolved to how these are done at present, but generally, these traditions carry with it the original tenor of the belief of the family or the community to which the bride or the groom belongs.
